Bug Fixes​

  • #212: Unable to upgrade to 1.3 due to an empty required field​

    Problem: The upgrade fails with the error message "The post-install script failed."

    Cause: A newly introduced required field on b+s Partner Messaging Configuration records is not populated during the upgrade.

    Solution: During the upgrade, a placeholder value is added to the Messaging Channel Platform Key field of existing b+s Partner Messaging Configuration records.

  • Add support for multi configuration record per channel​

    Requirements: Allow more than one Messaging Channel per Salesforce Org

  • Enhance debugging with Logger​

    Requirements: Implements a backend logger to intercept and log inbound and outbound requests' errors

  • #201: UNABLE_TO_LOCK_ROW on access_token update​

    Problem: UNABLE_TO_LOCK_ROW error occurs when updating cached token in Protected Custom Settings

    Cause: A Protected Custom Setting record is being updated while an other transaction is trying to do the same at the same time

    Solution: Use Queueable to handle all Itneractions API requests

  • #192: Fix encoding issues from Webex to Salesforce | #206: Encode additionalParams to support non-ISO characters​

    Problem: Non-ISO characters are displayed in chat as question marks

    Cause: Mismatch between documented charset to serve payloads from Webex and actual charset used

    Solution: Encode outbound payload in Webex and decode once received in Salesforce to preserve exact characters
